Royal Icing Primrose

Here are some royal icing primroses that I made. They are an easy flower to get a bunch done in no time. Once they were dry I brushed on some luster dust to give them some sparkle.

Popsicle Cakes

When I found a pan that makes these cute popsicle cakes with a bite taken out of them I just had to buy it. The pan makes 6 cakes and I covered each one in a different color of fondant.

Above  my daughter and below my niece enjoying their popsicle cakes.

Cheese Cake?

I modeled this cake to look like my husbands favorite cheese that he makes at work.

The Best Chocolate Cake

Here is a link to the best chocolate cake that I have ever had. I use it when ever I make a chocolate cake. Yes it uses a box mix with a few other ingredients added to it to make it nice and moist and chocolaty.

Golf Cake Topper

I made this out of fondant on a cake circle. The cake was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Since the cake needed to go in the refrigerator I made the fondant so it could just sit on top of the cake while it was out since the fondant would not hold up if put on the cake and then refrigerated.

Wedding/Anniversary

I was just trying some things out that I recently learned and wanted to try out putting ribbon on a cake. This would work well for a wedding tier or anniversary cake. Would also look good as a Valentines cake but I think then I would put red flowers on top.

Close up of the gumpaste flowers that I put on top.
