Adalia's 6th birthday!

This cake was one layer white and one layer chocolate cake.

Checkerboard Cake

I have been wanting a checkerboard cake set for a while now. In a couple month a friend wants one for her sons birthday, so I went to pick one up. I had to try it out right away! I picked this up at Jo Ann's with a 60% off coupon. I paid only $6.90 instead of $16.99!

This cake was yummy. There is chocolate, the green is mint and the blue is vanilla. Then chocolate buttercream frosting to finish it off.

Cupcake Basket

Every year my daughter's school has a Barn Dance and the raffle off baskets. 

I made this one with all the dry ingredients you need to make cupcakes, along with cupcake liners, frosting and sprinkles. It also cake with a Barbie and she is all set too bake too!

Chocolate Raspberry Cake

This cake is chocolate raspberry with a ganache filling. It is frosted with vanilla buttercream and drizzled with more ganache.

Star Wars Cake

Star Wars has been everywhere for the last year. So it is no big surprise that I would be asked to make a Star Wars cake. Also kind of surprising that I haven't already done a Star Wars cake for anyone in my family since there are a few of us who love the movies. I was a little nervous making this cake but I love the way it turned out.
